President ‘s Message Dear Colleagues, The Department of Periodontology of the Dental Faculty of Aristotle University has the pleasure to announce the International Congress of Periodontology titled “Periodontology 2020_ Evidenced based interventions, New perspectives” which will take place in Thessaloniki, 22-23 of May 2020, at the Hotel Porto Palace. The Organizing Committee has invited well known researchers and clinicians from Europe and the USA who will share with you their ‘state of the art’ knowledge in the fields of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. We believe, that offering of high-quality scientific events by experts with international recognition is very important for the Dental Community. Nevertheless, it is quite a long time, since the colleagues in northern Greece had the opportunity to attend a meeting hosting distinguished speakers in the field of Periodontology. Furthermore, small group hands-on workshops on cutting edge clinical topics will be offered by master clinicians recognized trainers. The city of Thessaloniki, also called “the Nymph of Thermaikos Gulf”, offers many possibilities and is an attractive destination especially in May when there are ideal weather conditions.
